We are thrilled to present to you this edition of The Cornerstone Connection from Rosenberg Lodge No. 881!
At the Annual Grand Sessions of the Most Excellent Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Texas and the Most Illustrious Grand Council of Royal and Select Masters of Texas, two of our own were elected or appointed to positions within those bodies. Congratulations to Past Master Aaron Tyksinski on being elected as the Right Excellent Grand Scribe of the Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Texas and Worshipful Master David Berndt on being appointed as the Right Illustrious District Deputy Grand Master of Cyptic District 6 of the Grand Council of Royal and Select Masters of Texas. Fort Bend County Masonry continues to be strong!
Past Master David C. Berndt
Brethren, I hope that you and your family had a wonderful Christmas.
As a reminder, 2026 dues were payable no later than December 31, 2025. If your 2026 dues have not been paid, you are now considered in arrears and are unable to participate in any Masonic activity requiring being a Master Mason in good standing. If this pertains to you, please contact our Secretary, Past Master Sharbrough, to remedy the situation.
As we begin a new calendar year, let us renew our commitment to leading the way in our District. We are well on our way to qualifying for the Vanguard Award, and we will be continuing our study sessions and fellowship events into 2026. If you are interested in reviewing the esoteric work, I highly encourage you to attend our First Tuesday Fellowship and Study events each month.
If we have not seen you in a while, please try to get back to lodge soon. We would love to enjoy fellowship with you again and join you in the harmony we find in our Stated Meetings.
One last request: I kindly ask that you record your charitable works on the spreadsheet on the Secretary's desk. These entries help Rosenberg Lodge maintain our property tax exemption, and every act of service—great or small—truly counts.
Past Master Carter R. Sharbrough
