We are thrilled to present to you this edition of The Cornerstone Connection from Rosenberg Lodge No. 881!
Past Master David C. Berndt
Brethren, I hope that you and your family are doing well. My thanks to everyone for helping to make the Joint Special Ladies and Past Masters event a success, and to Brother Senior Warden Vance for presiding in my stead at the event while I was out of town. I heard that it was a wonderful event and that our Special Ladies and Past Masters were very appreciative of the recognition and the gifts. There was even a Masonic widow present who lost her Mason 50 years ago who was very moved by our event. It is my hope that our Lodge, Morton Lodge, and Sugar Land can keep this joint event going for many years to come.
Rosenberg Lodge will be hosting a blood drive on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Davis Bros. Auto Supply. The flyer is below. If you are able to donate blood, please sign up using the QR code in the flyer or the link provided below the flyer. Sign ups are preferred, but walk-ins are also welcome! Every donation helps save lives!
Thank you to everyone who donated to our food drive. The delivery to Helphing Hands will be made soon. We are now starting a toy drive to benefit Child Advocates of Fort Bend. If you are able, please donate to this worthy cause that will help the children of our local area.
If we have not seen you in a while, please try to get back to lodge soon. We would love to enjoy fellowship with you again and join you in the harmony we find in our Stated Meetings.
One last request: I kindly ask that you record your charitable works on the spreadsheet on the Secretary's desk. These entries help Rosenberg Lodge maintain our property tax exemption, and every act of service—great or small—truly counts.
Past Master Carter R. Sharbrough
DUES, DUES, DUES.
We will be assessing our membership for your 2026 Dues before our November Stated Meeting. Please set aside your annual payment in anticipation of this expense. As in the past, you will be able to pay your dues online via your profile in Grandview, in addition to the traditional payment methods.
DID YOU KNOW? Rosenberg Lodge #881 remains the most affordable lodge in District 108 (by far). 2026 DUES will be $60. Our endowment cost is still only $500… the minimum amount allowed by Grand Lodge Law.
Past Master Jason O. Vance
Dear Brothers,
Both Morton Lodge and Rosenberg Lodge were proudly represented in our recent school supply drive, contributing over $2,000 worth of backpacks and supplies for local students.
Through the generosity and teamwork of our brethren, we were able to deliver substantial donations to Lamar Consolidated High School and Wessendorff Middle School. The staff at both campuses were genuinely surprised by the abundance of supplies and expressed heartfelt appreciation for our continued support of their students and community.
Together, we continue to make a meaningful impact—demonstrating that the light of Masonry shines brightest through service and charity.
Thank you, Brothers, for your dedication and generosity in serving our community.
Rosenberg Lodge is collecting donations of new, unwrapped toys to benefit Child Advocates of Fort Bend. Toys can be dropped off at Rosenberg Lodge anytime the doors are open until December 8, 2025. The QR Code below and on the flyer may be scanned to order requested toys directly from Amazon, which will delivered on Rosenberg Lodge's behalf to Child Advocates.
