Greetings Brothers,
I hope this message finds you well and in good spirits. As we move into the month of September, I encourage each of you to take full advantage of the opportunities our Lodge offers for learning, fellowship, and service.
On Tuesday, September 2, 2025, we will gather for Study and Fellowship at 6:30 p.m. This is an excellent time to expand your Masonic knowledge, share ideas, and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood. Whether you are a newly initiated Brother or a seasoned Mason, your presence makes a difference.
Our Stated Meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. I strongly encourage you to attend, participate in our business, and enjoy the camaraderie of your Brothers. That evening also marks the conclusion of our current food drive. If you have not yet contributed, please bring your non-perishable food items so we can make a strong impact in our community.
I also urge you to look over the list of upcoming Masonic events later in this newsletter. Let’s show our support for our neighboring Lodges and appendant bodies, demonstrating the strength and unity of our Fraternity.

The Silent Testimony of an Apron

The apron begins in the hush of beginning— bright as resolve, untouched as silence.
But time, in its quiet mercy, works upon it: the borders soften, threads surrender to the rhythm of labor, creases settle where care once bent low.
Spots appear, as they must— not as shame, but as testimony.
Each mark a memory: of hands offered without demand, of burdens borne in stillness, of presence in places where truth is needed more than praise.
Do not conceal its wear— for that is not ruin, but reverence.
A worn apron is a vow fulfilled. It says, I was there. I gave. I endured.
The fabric holds no illusion. It speaks only of effort— honest and given, without need for perfection.
The aim was never to preserve its purity— but to let it bear witness of yours.
Not spotless. But sacred. Dedicated and true.

Please review Rosenberg 881’s pending By-Laws before our Stated Meeting on September 16, 2025. We propose to adopt the new 2025 version of Form 23 for our Bylaws. You can find the text in your Grandview File Vault under the By-Laws tab. We will vote on whether to adopt the proposed By-Laws without amendment.
In addition, here you can find a copy of our newly revised Rules and Regulations which were approved for Rosenberg Lodge #881 at our Stated Meeting on August 19, 2025. These revised Rules & Regs took effect upon approval.
